Deep Trekker's DT640 Utility Crawler is the latest Water Tank ROV, designed to inspect, clean and maintain water storage facilities for cities and municipalities.
At Deep Trekker, we focus on the importance of clean and safe drinking water. Our robotic systems offer solutions to perform tank inspections for cities and municipalities. All of Deep Trekker’s systems are equipped with internal batteries and a handheld controller, providing a portable and easy to use robotic system designed for the construction of water towers and water storage facilities.
Many of us are not aware of what happens deep inside water tanks - but at Deep Trekker, we know that if tanks are not frequently inspected, issues can arise. When not inspected, sediment, waste and plant material find their way to the bottom of the tank. Over time this turns into a layer of sludge that acts as a breeding ground for harmful bacteria, dangerous to the quality of water and harmful to the capacity of the tank. Although sludge can take time to accumulate, it is important to monitor the condition inside the tank with frequent and regular inspections.

Deep Trekker provides cities and municipalities with innovative ways to inspect water tanks and submerged infrastructure. Sediment can be easily removed from water tanks, without having to drain the tank or send divers into confined spaces.
The DT640 Utility Crawler, available with a custom designed vacuum head, is the first of its kind and provides contractors with an ideal tool for internal tank inspections and cleaning. The benefits of using the vacuum head means that there is minimal loss of water during the project, depending on the size and amount of material to clean, and it can be done at any time during the year.

The standard DT640 Utility Crawler includes rubber wheels and an onboard camera allowing the vehicle to inspect points of interest, in hard to reach areas. Operator-friendly and easily deployed, the crawler has a handheld controller, with a super bright viewing screen to ensure accurate and detailed inspections. Attachments include an elevated camera head, vacuum cleaner, pressure washer and scraper, all of which are unique and safe solutions for water tank inspections and cleaning.
